The second edition of the training of teachers in citizenship education through the dialectic method and theatre was run over between November and December 2020, throughout 2 online sessions.
Due to the restrictions imposed by the Covid-19 outbreak, all the sessions took place online, via Google Meet platform and were organized in 6 hours distributed in 3 hours per session (from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.). In addition, to complement the training, there were an additional 14 hours of personal work (readings, analysis of audio-visual material and design of an activity).
This second edition of the training of teachers was attended by 31 participants, however the total number of practitioners delivering were 10.
At the end of the training, many of the schools were not open (due to the restrictions arising from the pandemic) and therefore it was a challenge to implement the EAR methodology. Despite this main obstacle, some of the participants were able to implement it as they had planned.
During implementation, 2 EAR sessions took place online (via Google Meet):
- The first session took place on 14November 2020
- The second session took place on 19 December 2020
Furthermore, online class with all materials was created in order to facilitate teachers access and exchange materials.
